Senses Spa on the Disney Dream

January 13, 2017 by Disney Cruise Mom 10 Comments

Senses Spa on the Disney Dream

Recently a friend of mine sailed on the Dream and took some great photos of the Senses Spa that I want to share.  I have never done any spa treatments while on the Dream because 3 nights goes by so darn quickly, but after seeing these photos, I may just have to squeeze in a massage next time!

Let’s start with what is likely the most luxurious space in the spa which I believe is called a couples villa (someone please correct me if I am wrong).  Treatments in these rooms start at $449 for 120 minutes (you can read more details about the treatment options on the DCL website here).

Next is the Rainforest Room which seems to be very popular.  You can buy either single day passes or length of cruise passes, which will give you access to saunas, heated and scented showers, heated lounge chairs, and hot tubs.

I believe that these are some of the standard treatment rooms:

Within the spa are a fitness center and locker rooms, which cruisers can use for no extra charge:

Finally there is the Chill Youth Spa (more details and menu here) for guests 13 through 17 (although a parent or guardian must be present for the duration of the treatment).

    Hi Diana,
Thank you so much for the photos of the spa! I have sailed on the Dream twice and never did the spa. My family will be on the Fantasy this July and we will definetly be booking some time in the rainforest room and using those great spa chairs. With 7 nights and 3 sea days we will have time to pamper ourselves- you made my decision easy now!

My husband and I just got off the Dream two days ago and bought the rainforest length of cruise pass. It was wonderful. My husband is now a spa junky.

Ha ha! I can totally see that happening to my husband too! I think we will definitely check it out on our next cruise.

The last time we sailed on the Dream, I got a facial at Senses Spa, and it was so luxurious! It really helped set the mood of relaxation for the rest of the cruise. We are cruising on the Magic in two weeks, and I have a massage booked at the spa. Would you like me to take pictures and send to you?

Thank you Jessica, I would LOVE that! But, I’m not sure if they will let you take photos during your treatment because there will be other guests in there. You may have to walk through the spa after boarding, as the first few hours are an open house where no one is getting treatments, and anyone can walk through and take photos. If you could also take photos of your stateroom, I would love to put them on the blog!

Do you happen to know the hours of the spa on the Disney Fantasy? I am trying to book a couples massage while the kids are in the kids program? Also, if we get a treatment I. The day can we return later that same day to experience the rainforest spa, or do we need to purchase the day pass?

    Thank for your help!

Hi Cathy! The spa is typically open from 8:00 am – 10:00 pm. You will not be able to access the rainforest room when you are at the spa for other treatments, unless you purchase a day pass as well.

Do the spa packages include a pass to the rainforest room?

Hi Sean! Unfortunately, the rainforest room is considered a separate experience and you must purchase passes, even if you’re already at the spa for a treatment.
