This is my first Disney cruise and we are cruising the week of Christmas! Sooooo excited! I’ve also heard there is religious services on Christmas Eve as well as cookies/milk in your cabin. I can’t wait for photo opps for my Christmas card for next year! Ha!

We are thinking about going on the December 18th Christmas time cruise. Can you tell me about the weather in the Bahamas/Castaway Cay in December. Is it warm enough to get in the water?

Hi Sara! The average ocean temp in the Bahamas in December is 75-78 degrees, which I consider cool but not too cold to swim. As far as air temps, I have read reports from people who have experienced both warm/sunny days and cloudy/cool/windy in December. Most likely you will have a beautiful day, but there is definitely a chance for cool weather as well. Hope this helps!
