Guest Trip Report: March 10, 2022 4 Night on the Disney Magic from Miami – Day 4

July 8, 2022 by Disney Cruise Mom Leave a Comment

This guest trip report was written by Rachel, whose family sailed concierge on back-to-back sailings on the Disney Magic – first a 5 night Marvel Day at Sea, followed by this 4 night Bahamian itinerary.  This is cruise #2.  You can read the full trip report for cruise #1 here.

Day 4

On the morning of our last full day on the cruise, we did our same routine for breakfast – splitting between the concierge lounge and Cabanas depending on our preferences. The concierge wait staff had started making my hot tea for me as soon as they saw me walk in (we were not allowed to use the coffee machine on our own yet at this point).

Our plans for the day included doing some fun things on the ship for the last time and just relaxing on our last full day of vacation. First up was basketball – again.

Then we stopped to watch Finding Dory on Funnel Vision for a while.

Took a stroll around the ship and spotted Donald in the atrium.

For lunch, we ate by the pool and caught a little bit of Toy Story 4 (I think that’s what it was). I got the drink of the day, although I can’t remember the name of it. It was really good, though.

The Aqua Dunk had opened at noon, so after lunch our boys wanted to make sure they got another turn at both of the slides.

We spent some time in our stateroom later that afternoon just hanging out. I popped down to the atrium every once in a while because I was trying to catch Captain Minnie for a photo op. And on the app, it doesn’t say which character is out meeting, so we had to go look. Finally, I saw her AND Captain Mickey! BUT, the line was closed when I got there so I just took photos of them off to the side.

For dinner that night we were back in Animator’s Palate.

I had the black truffle purseittes, of course (my favorite), the tenderloin, and the sundae.

We made sure to get a photo with our waitstaff, who were absolutely wonderful.

Then we took a few photos on Deck 4 before heading inside for another round of Disney Trivia.

Our last character to meet on this cruise was Goofy in his sailor outfit.

We watched a movie in our stateroom that evening since we had seen all of the shows.

Our final towel animal was a lobster.

This sea day was such a relaxing end to a wonderful 9-day cruise. We loved the Magic and would love to cruise on her again.

The next day, we had a quick breakfast in Animator’s Palate and said a final farewell to our servers. Then we took advantage of the concierge priority debarking and skipped that line. Pretty soon we had our luggage, went through customs, and were out on the curb getting an Uber back to the airport. I did not take any photos of our final morning on board. It was fast and furious and we were so sad to leave!

Until next time, DCL!
