Disney Dream Room 5018

March 7, 2017 by Disney Cruise Mom 2 Comments

This is room 5018 on the Disney Dream. It is on deck 5 and is almost all the way forward on the port side of the ship. It is a category 8A Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom and sleeps 4 people. Because it is handicap accessible, it has a much different layout than most rooms in this category.  It is almost square in shape instead of rectangle.  I love how the door opens into a nice wide open area instead of a narrow walkway like normal.  But, because it is handicap accessible, it does not have a tub (shower only) and it does not have the split bath configuration typical of most 8A rooms on the ship.  It also does not have the dividing privacy curtain between the bed and sofa that most rooms have.  However, it does have 2 padded portholes for additional seating. These pictures were taken in January 2016.

Great information. I wanted this room but now knowing that it does not have a bathtub or a room divider curtain I will not be getting. Those are critical items for my 1 & 2 year old on a 7 night cruise!

Thanks Kevin! I’m glad you were able to discover that before you booked it.
