Disney Magic Room 2510

November 17, 2018 by Disney Cruise Mom 3 Comments

This is Disney Magic stateroom 2510 which is a category 9C Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom.  It is on deck 2 forward on the starboard side of the ship.  It sleeps 4 people and has the split bath configuration.  These photos were taken by Abby in October 2018. Here are her thoughts on the room:

My family of four stayed in Oceanview Stateroom 2510 aboard the Disney Magic on a NYC-Bermuda cruise from October 24 – October 29, 2018. Our travel party included two adults, a 4-year-old, and a 15-month-old.

We really loved the location of this Oceanview Forward room. Deck 2 was a great choice for our family, and we had good luck using the Forward elevators with minimal waits. It was easy for us to get to the dining rooms and shows on Decks 3 and 4. We also thought this was a great location in terms of hallway traffic and noise.

This stateroom featured one large porthole window, as well as the split bathroom setup that so many Disney Cruisers know and love.

We found the storage space throughout the cabin to be plentiful. Our two large suitcases, as well as our collapsed City Mini stroller, easily fit under the bed.

Stateroom 2510 is a bit “longer” than a traditional Oceanview Stateroom on the Disney Magic. This was wonderful for our family, because our baby’s PackNPlay (provided by DCL) fit into the bump out perfectly.

We were able to leave the PackNPlay up at all times without ever feeling like it was in the way. The bump out also lended itself well to fort-building and sister shenanigans. We always felt like our girls had plenty of room to play!

There were two very rocky nights at sea on our cruise. Although we felt the swaying of the ship both nights, I think our overall experience was better than a lot of people’s because of our Stateroom location. We heard some minor creaks caused by the ship’s movement at night, but overall we felt like the room was very quiet. We would absolutely stay in this stateroom again.

Hi, thanks for this review, this is what I was looking for. Do you know if all 9C Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom are a bit longer to accomodate a pack and play? What makes this room (or category?) a bit longer?

    Tks!

Hi Ashley! I think the extra space in this 9C cabin is due to the fact that it is located at the front of the ship, where the exterior of the ship curves towards the bow. I would bet that most 9Cs don’t have this space. However, any ocean view stateroom that is called a “Family” ocean view room will have a twin Murphy bed which can be pulled down in front of the window (to sleep a 5th person), which creates a nice space for a pack & play when the bed is in the up position. Here is a link to a review for one:
