Disney Wonder Room 6011

October 9, 2018 by Disney Cruise Mom Leave a Comment

Stateroom 6011 on the Disney Wonder is a category 11B Standard Inside Stateroom at the front of the ship on the port side.  It has the sideways layout.  These photos were taken in July 2018.

Since it is a sideways room (meaning the long side runs parrallel to the hallway) you enter at the middle of the room (rather than the end) and see the couch and table right in front of you:

As you can see there is not a pullman bed in the ceiling above the couch, so this room only sleeps 3.
To the left is the bed.  There is an alarm clock on one side of the bed and a phone on the other.  We disconnected the phone and moved it to the desk to free up room for a CPAP.  There were outlets on both sides of the bed.

At the foot of the bed was the dresser/desk that had the two wave phones and the regulare phone.  There was a hair dryer in the drawer with a dedicated outlet to power it as well as one regular outlet.

There was a divider curtain and a cabinet under the television that held the refrigerator.  There was also a hidden outlet behind the TV.

To the right as you enter the room is the closet (with safe) and the bathroom. It is a standard bath (not the split bath) with a shower/tub combo.

On the wall of the bathroom is a low power hairdryer.  I recommend the one in the desk unless your hair is thin or dries quickly.

Overall, we liked this room and it felt very spacious.  It had plenty of light switches so you didn’t have to get up to turn the lights on and off.  But, it probably wouldn’t be our first choice of room if we were expected to have high seas (due to the forward location).  There were a couple of times I thought I would bounce out of bed due to the movement of the ship.  Also, I did not feel any vibrations and the room was very quiet.
