Disney Wish Room 7052

This is Disney Wish stateroom 7052. This is a Category 5C Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah. It is on Deck 7 forward/midship on the port side, right next to the forward elevators/stairs. It sleeps four people and has a connecting door to room 7054 (also a category 5C Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah that sleeps 4 people, full review here).  These photos were taken in August 2022.

The TV is fixed on the wall, you cannot tilt it towards the sofa.

 

 

I really liked the lamps on either side of the bed.  There is a separate reading light, and all of the fixtures are dimmable:

 

 

 

 

Unfortunately there are not as many drawers as on the other ships.  The large drawer on the bottom right is the refrigerator:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Castaway Club lanyards were in the room when we arrived.  The large bag contained our platinum gift, which was a tote bag, a travel/passport wallet, and a water bottle with a built in speaker.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The closets have a decent amount of storage:

 

 

 

I don’t remember robes being provided in non-concierge rooms on the other ships.

I think that switching from a shower curtain to a glass door is a big improvement.  The shower door swings both in and out which is a nice touch.

 

 

 

Since we also had the room next door, our stateroom host opened the divider after I took these photos:

 

 

 

One thing to note: Our air conditioner was not working well (or possibly at all) on the last night of our cruise.  I later heard that if the verandah door handle is not in the down (locked) position, that the AC will not run.  I suspect this is what happened to us.

 

Right below our verandah was a boat.  If you want to look down and see the ocean, this room is not for you.  I took this photo while we were in Nassau, so that is the pier behind the boat:
