Disney Fantasy Room 7082

July 29, 2018 by Disney Cruise Mom Leave a Comment

This is Disney Fantasy stateroom 7082 which is a category 5C Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah.  It is on deck 7, port side, midship and sleeps 4 people.  It connects to room 7080 next door, which is also a category 5C, although it only sleeps 3 people.  Here is a review from Gina G, who was kind enough to send these to me:

While sailing on the Disney Fantasy during the 11 night Southern Caribbean cruise, we stayed in stateroom 7082 and 7080 (port side staterooms).  These staterooms are a Category 5C Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah.  Stateroom 7082 slept 4 while Stateroom 7080 slept 3.  These rooms are connecting rooms with a door on the inside of the staterooms.  We also asked our stateroom attendant, Nikki from Jamaica, to open the verandah door in order to make the balcony larger.
Upon entering the stateroom,  a card will need to be put in the slot to turn the lights and tv on.  The Fantasy prides itself on being energy efficient and this is just one way they are doing this.  The card does not need to be your stateroom card, but can be any hotel card key (we used a Marriott card from our hotel the night before the cruise).  The stateroom has 2 closets which included shelf space in each closet and a safe.

There was a small dresser next to the closet.

This room has the split bath configuration.  The are two sinks – one in the bathroom and the other in the shower room.  The bathroom had shelf space on the wall (great for ladies toiletries) and underneath the sink.  The shower area had one shelf on the wall.  The shower area had a wall plug on the ceiling next to the mirror.  The shower is a tub/shower combo and included 2 lines for drying wet clothes and a shelf large enough for 2 small shampoo bottles, a face cleanser, and 2 bottles of body wash (one small and one large).

The bed is a queen size even though it felt a little larger.  The bed has space underneath for luggage, which is a huge space saver.  There was only one plug near the bed (on the side near the wall) which wasn’t a problem but one of our phones had to be charged on the desk area.  There is a curtain between the bed and sofa which helps add privacy.  The sofa turns into a twin size bed and in stateroom 7082, a pull down berth could be used to an additional guest.  The pull down berth is also a twin size bed with railings and a ladder.

In between the sofa and the desk was a small coffee table which upon inspection opened up to another great place to store items.

The desk area had a mini-fridge, chair, and 3 drawers for clothes.  On the wall above the dresser was a cabinet and the other side had 2 shelves above the tv.  The tv is movable depending on if you are watching from the sofa or bed.  The tv has a handful of stations (not all accessible while at sea) including ABC, ESPN, CNN, FOX News, MSNBC, Disney Channel (of course), but our favorite aspect was the Disney movies and shows on demand.  We were able to choose from animated to live action (all Disney of course) and then a small handful of movies that were in the theaters (I was able to watch Pitch Perfect 3 and I Can Only Imagine).

The verandah had 2 chairs and a small table.  The balcony wall was clear but some verandahs include a white wall.  We were able to get great views of the islands we visited since we were on the port side.
