Disney Fantasy Room 10114

August 20, 2019 by Disney Cruise Mom Leave a Comment

This is Disney Fantasy stateroom 10114. This is a Category 4A Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah located mid/aft on deck 10 on the port side of the ship, directly under the pool deck. It is 299 square feet (including the verandah).  These photos were taken in January 2019.

The verandah provided great views when we were in port and we had no issue with noise above us.  The closest elevators are the aft elevators.

Although the Disney Cruise website states that this room sleeps 3-5 people, this particular rooms sleeps 4 and is configured with a queen bed, single sleeper sofa, and an upper-berth pull down bed.  There is no murphy bed next to the verandah like most 4A rooms.  The area where the murphy bed is normally located is utilized as a seating area with a comfortable chair.  There is a decent amount of space between the end of the couch and the sliding verandah door.  In higher category rooms (5-9), you do not have this extra space (i.e. the couch is right up next to the verandah door or window).

There is ample closet space and counter space.  However, this stateroom did not include the high dresser next to the closet.  We really missed this additional drawer space especially because of the extra clothes we packed for an 11 day cruise.

The bathroom configuration is the standard split bathroom.  The shower/tub combination is the shower with the small round tub. The door on the left is the room with the sink/toilet, and the door on the right is the room with the sink/shower:

This stateroom was very spacious for three people.  However, if you are traveling with 4 people, you might have issues with the lack of drawer space.  We did not have any problems with noise above us or outside our cabin nor did we experience any additional noise/vibrations during the docking process.

If we travel again with 3 people, I would not hesitate to book this stateroom again.
