Disney Dream Room 7128

January 2, 2017 by Disney Cruise Mom Leave a Comment

This is Disney Dream room 7128 which is a category 4C Deluxe Family Oceanview Room with a Verandah.  It is midship on the port side and connects to room 7126, which is also a 4C.  It sleeps 5 people with a queen bed, twin sofa bed, ceiling bunk (right above the sofa) and murphy bed (right in front of the verandah door).

The reader who sent these has a baby, and she said that the pack & play and diaper genie were already set up in the room when they arrived.  They weren’t using the murphy bed, so you can see in the photo above how they put the pack & play right in front of the murphy bed.  The reader was kind enough to provide the following detailed review of the room:

“Sleeps 5 people comfortably. Our family of 5 included 2 adults, 2 kids and an infant. The room had a queen bed, the bed that was made from the couch, the bunk that came down from the ceiling and a murphy bed. We didn’t use the murphy bed but you can see it in the pictures. Disney had a pack n play and a diaper genie all set up in our state room when we arrived for the baby. We just set the pack in play up in front of where the murphy bed would be. We were pleasantly surprised with how much space this room really had. All the pictures above are with all of our stuff put away! There is so much storage space in the room. What is stored under the bed is 4 suitcases, a infant car seat and a stroller. There were plenty of drawers and closets to hang up or store all of our clothes as well as all of the babies diapers, food, bottles etc. The end table in front of the couch also stored 3 backpacks.
There was also enough floor space to have the baby’s travel bouncer and it stayed up the whole time and was never in the way. Other favorite features were the split bathrooms and the verandah. We weren’t sure how much we would use the verandah but we used it quite a bit. Especially me. There were afternoons when the baby had to nap for a bit and I was able to just sit out and enjoy the view. My favorite was the morning I ordered room service and drank my coffee and watched the sunrise. The kids loved being out on the verandah while arriving in Nassau and Castaway Cay! Breakfast on the verandah on Castaway Cay day was a quick alternative to beating the crowds at Cabanas and getting to the beach early. The room was close to the elevators and it was very quiet. It did adjoin to another room but we never heard any of our neighbors on either side or anything from above. It is quite a distance from the laundry facilities on floor 7 but our stateroom host told me to go to level 8. There were only 2 washers and dryers on 8 but it was a lot closer than walking to the complete opposite end of the ship on floor 7.”

Here are some picture of the verandah.  I love how the kids are in them because it really give you a sense of how high the railing is.Disney Dream verandah

This room has a great view of the docking area (but not the main part of the island) at Castaway Cay.  The logistics of Castaway Cay always amaze me.
