Disney Dream Room 2515

Disney cruise stateroom

These are photos of interior stateroom 2515 on the Disney Dream. It is a category 11C which is called a standard inside stateroom. It is the least expensive room category on the Dream. It it mid-ship and connects through an interior door to room 2513. You can see the connecting door in the open position on the right side of these photos:

This sofa converts to a twin size bed:

This is what it looks like once the stateroom host sets it up:

There is also a twin size bed that comes out of the ceiling above.  I forgot to take a picture of it once our room host set it up, but here is one from room 2513 next door which is the same but a mirror image:

Above the top bunk is a starry sky to look at:

Here is a view of the desk area and door to the hallway:

One of the neat features of this room is the magic porthole. You can turn it on or off with a light switch beside the bed.

During the day, it is a live video from outside of the ship. In the photo above, you can see that we were still in port at Port Canaveral. Here is a photo I took as we were pulling into Castaway Cay:

Every once in a while a character will make an appearance, which my kids loved! Unfortunately I never got a photo of that. At night, the porthole shows a computer generated night sea image.

This room does not have the split bath arrangement that higher room categories have. It is just one small room with the modified tub/shower combo.  I didn’t take any photos of the bathroom but it is a mirror image of this one, which is room 2513 next door:

To the right side of the sink but not pictured are several small shelves on the wall which are useful for storing toiletries. If you think you will need more storage, over-the-door shoe holders are now longer allowed by DCL but I use a hanging storage bag like this one and also a hanging toiletry bag like these.

Overall we enjoyed this room. It was very quiet and we never heard any noise from above or beside us. It is only a few steps away from the midship elevators, Enchanted Garden and the grand staircase up to the atrium on level 3. I would definitely book this room again.

Yes, you can. I have heard that the doors on the concierge rooms have a wooden paneling that requires very strong magnets, so keep that in mind if you are staying in one of those.

I’ll be staying in this room in a little over two weeks. Looking forward to it!
